By Shaka999 from Fort Collins, Colorado on 09/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Great Fit Best Uses: Road Biking, Triathlons Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm an avid cyclist and decided to try a Tri for the first time. These shorts worked out great. I did a little training in them before the race and then did a sprint distance event with no problems.
If your just cycling going for a cycling short is probably a safer bet but if your going to be in a pool these work great.
By Woman with the Picky Husband from Morgantown, WV on 09/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have no idea - the shorts certainly looked great online. I bought them as an anniversary gift for my husband, who just recently started biking. Even tho his friends told him he could wear them under regular shorts, he absolutely wouldn't put them on (after he felt the material). I reluctantly returned the shorts today (9-10-09).
By Mark the Triathlete from Denver, CO on 08/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great bike shorts, they don't ride up and have good padding
Nice shorts at a nice price By JoeCommuter from Suburban DC on 08/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly Cons: Inseam could be longer Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a commuter cyclist who rides upright bikes. I don't need a typically heavily padded cycling short, but find some compression/fitness shorts lacking in "privacy". Since compression shorts with a lining seem to be non-existent, I looked at shorts with a thin pad as an alternative. The Canari's pad is more akin to a thick lining, so it works for me. My only complaint would be that I prefer a longer inseam, preferably to my knees. Other than that, these shorts work well for me.

tri short, not bike shorts. By poky guy from pcatello, id on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: just note that the padding is for tri racing, not the thick bike training pads. haven't put a ton of miles on them but they seem solid enough. not worried about durability.

more than just for sports By Bluegrass runner from Versailles, Kentucky on 08/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Road Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a runner, not a cyclist, and these shorts are my favorites. I don't just wear them when running; I practically live in them all summer long. They're cool, comfortable, feel great all day and wash and dry quickly. The last pair I owned lasted a couple years of heavy, hard use.
