By wanna be a snowbunny from Seattle, Wa on 10/21/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the way they look,I got orange!! No one will miss me in the snow! But they need an insert with arch support because they just feel like rainboots and would be hard to walk in for any length of time. I also wonder if they would be really warm enough when walking in snow....that will be the real test...they have a nylon outer with felt-like lining...rubber toe.
By Ellie in the desert from Antelope Valley, CA on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boots are slightly larger than anticipated, but this is better than being too small! Great looking. I live in the high desert--but we can get torrential rains and 8-12 inch accumulations of snow. These will be perfect.
By Pole' from Lopez Island, WA on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are warm, although it hasn't snowed here yet so I haven't tried them in really cold weather...but their from Canada so there shouldn't be any problems with that.
The only con I noticed for me was that they are a little narrow. I do have slightly wider feet. They fit ok, but not sure if I'll be able to walk any distance with them. Because they are synthetic, the footbed will not stretch to form the foot like leather would.
By Northern Girl from Minnesota on 10/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these boots! Surprised at how warm they are for not having any bulk! I live in Minnesota, so will definately be adding heavy wool socks when the weather is colder. Very roomy, perhaps running a bit large, but I would not go down a size.
Who knew this boot would be so good?!!! By coffeecup1390 from Boston on 10/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots to handle cold puddles, slush and snow in Boston. The boots run just-a-tad larger than normal, which is perfect with a pair of socks. They are comfortable, not clumsy or heavy.
Someone suggested I looked like I was ready for the Iditarod; I suspect I will have the last laugh when my feet are warm and dry this winter.
By Gibs Wife from Grand Rapids, Mi on 10/13/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't know how these are going to be in the cold weather, it is still October. They are much thinner and shorter than I thought they were going to be- disappointing. I hope they perform better than they feel!
By Chris from Boston, MA on 10/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They look great in person and seem to be built well. I haven't gotten a chance to test them out yet in the snow. I normally wear a size 9 and the size 40 fits fine.
