By Walker from Missoula, MT on 09/07/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have purchased several different models of Brooks running shoes and this is the first time they definitely feel too small. I am sending them back but will exchange for a different model. I actually use them for power-walking not running and am totally sold on the overall quality

I loved the Glycerin 4 and am equally happy with the 6. They are a great fit with tons of cushion - like floating on clouds. Happy running.

I had to go up 1/2 size for the Brooks, but other than that they felt great.
By kw from Texas on 09/02/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are extremely comfortable. After reading reviews, I did get a half size larger and am definitely glad I did. I am not a runner, but use the treadmill at the gym. They have nice cushion, especially in the heel area. If you have a high arch, you may need arch support. I added arch support which worked well for me. They are lightweight with no break-in time. The color is more orange than red. Overall an extremely nice shoe at a great price.
great for the neutral runner By DMLG from Boston on 08/30/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a neutral runner. You'd think that would mean that shoes would be easy to find, but that is not the case. And when I do find something, the manufacturer typically "upgrades" them to something that doesn't work for me. After Nike changed the Moto enough that I couldn't wear them anymore, I tried 4 different types and was having a lot of issues. Finally, the Brooks Glycerin 6 came along and saved my running! This is a great shoe, and STP has it at a great price.

I run about 3 miles per day and need a shoe that I can fit an insert into--this works! I also have a high arch. I hope it has durability but the price was good and i got an additional 20% off through internet offer from Sierra.
