I was professionally fitted for the first pair and since then I just wait to buy the end of the year style from Sierra Trading Post and they work perfectly. I've never had shin, foot or leg problems. I'm a neutral runner who likes a lot of heel cushioning.

Haven't worn them too many times yet, but seem comfortable with my orthotic in place. I have a pair of Brooks Defyance that I really like, my favorite pair of shoes, so I'm hoping these will be just as good.
By Workout Girl from Hot Springs, SD on 08/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks like a great shoe however, I have such a high arch and the shoe did not have enough support for running. I will be returning the shoe for that reason.
Comfortable, great looking running shoes By Always walking from Morrison CO on 07/27/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk/hike 2-3 hours with my dog. We go all over - on rough hiking trails to pavement - and these shoes were just what I needed.
By Victrola from Yacolt, WA on 07/12/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have very high arches and consequently the balls of my feet take a lot of pounding. These neutral cushioning shoes have proven to be a good shoe for the money, and the fit is excellent, especially after I checked out the tips for lacing in Sierra Trading Post's athletic shoe fitting section. No breaking-in time was needed, either--I wore these right out of the box to do my daily workouts and a lot of dog walking. The cushioning is good--not as good as Nike's Air Max+ 2009, but at a fraction of the price, these Glycerin 6 shoes are a very workable compromise for me.
I Really Like Brooks Shoes By Casual Teacher from South Carolina on 07/11/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like Brooks running shoes however I'm not a runner. I teach school and on my feet all day. I have a bad knee and buy running shoes to teach in for the cushion. I do work out at the gym for 4-5 hours a week. Because of not using them as a running shoe, I can't comment on that (that's why I gave it a 4), but I can comment on a few things. 1) Brooks run a half size too small, so order up a 1/2 size. 2) Some Brooks are good right out of the box, but these needed some break in time. 3) I really wanted a purple pair of shoes.
By Always on my Feet from Western MA on 07/03/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am an underpronator and could feel a difference right away. Arch support isn't enough for high arches, but it wouldn't stop me from buying these again. Definately order 1/2 size up. Shoe is cushy.
