She picked out the color of the shoes and was thrilled when they arrived. She is very happy with her "Brooks", wearing them daily. That's awesome since she's a teen -- I'm very pleased :)

There was no way I could actually run in these so I had to return them.

I didn't think any Brooks shoe could equal the Trance I purchased last year, but Defyance has done it. My legs are not tired after a run and I feel so energized while I run wearing these shoes. The support and heel traction is unbelievable. This is a great shoe for both beginning and established runners.

At first, I thought they might be TOO big because there is room to wiggle my toes around quite a bit. I am new to running, so I didn't know that this actually a benefit until someone told me. I have worn them almost every day for several weeks and enjoy them very much. A good product for the price.

I also suffer from plantar fasciitis and these shoes seem to have enough support for my heels and arches. I am currently "breaking in" 3 pairs of these shoes in my training and to take on the walk because I will walk 20 miles 3 days in a row. I love these shoes!
