Very comfortable and they offer a very smooth ride. I broke them in with a 6 mile run and recently ran a 20 miler in them. My feet didn't fatigue. The end of the run left me wanting to put more miles in. I didn't experience any hot spots or blisters. I will definitely continue my training in my new Brooks Defyance shoes.

They are lightweight, comfortable, have a lower arch support, and your feet dont get too hot or too cold. Thank you Brooks for accomidating us women who have larger feet!
The BEST running shoes--esp. for the $$ By SDR from American Fork, UT on 08/06/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Trails Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm training for a marathon and bought this pair as a spare. They were a little snug on the first wearing (probably why they say to order up a half size) but quickly stretched. In fact, the shoe is made to conform to your foot. VERY comfortable! This is the first pair of Brooks I've owned, because I usually run in ASICS, but I love these new shoes. Hopefully they'll continue to be good ones. :)

By New to Tri's from Buffalo, NY on 07/21/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried these to replace my Brooks Adrenaline's. I ran my first half marathon in the Adrenaline and needed new ones (out of stock) for the run leg of upcoming triathalons. I based my purchase on other reviews and am very happy. I ordered the same size and they work great. In my opinion these shoes seem to have more cushioning than the Adrenaline, which is exactly what I was looking for. I do wear custom orthodics so I can't really speak to the stability.
Great Neutral Running Shoe/ Great Price By BlueSwimmer from Alexandria,VA on 07/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm on my third pair of these shoes and was delighted to find them at such a great price (they are about [$] at [...].) These are very comfortable running shoes for neutral runners who like a flexible shoe that let's them use their feet to feel the road and make adjustments. The soles are fairly low profile while still providing support and cushioning: I like that I don't feel like I have marshmallows strapped to my feet; other runners might want a thicker, more bouncy sole.
