Able to pay more for quality By Run for Heath from Fort Collins, Colorado on 06/06/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tip: Find best brand for your type of jog/run style ~ and sizing of shoe ~ at quality shoe store first (if you don't know) then get what you really want at Sierra, without concern about overprice or, return. All the features a new jogger, or regular (to be healthy) jog/runner could want. I'm not a competitor...run three-four miles often...but not marathon/5K runner... however I do know how an exceptional quality shoe feels and supports the foot...this one does. Open mesh great for cooling, and can feel cushioning of heel, and mid toe box. Mild pronation means turning in of foot. I'm middle, with med arch... so no over correction with this shoe. Flat footed can get high sole inserts at run store. P.S. I'm not a rep for Sierra or Brooks...I write reviews cause I appreciate getting quality stuff I can actually afford.
