Great support at an affordable price. By Shebeest from Pensacola, FL on 09/23/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible Best Uses: Pavement, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to have a back-up pair of running shoes while prepping for my first 1/2. After reading the previous reviews and seeing the price, I was really jazzed about trying these shoes. However, after the first run in these, I came to the painful realization that the toe box is too narrow for my wide forefoot. I am going to give them another try, but I admit that I am spoiled by NB because they require zero break-in time.
I love these shoes; light but sturdy! By 10 mile Thompson from Ft Walton Beach, FL on 09/22/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Endurance Training, Running Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run nearly everyday of the year and by years end will have missed only a handful of days.
Therefore, I go through a lot of running shoes and typcially rotate through 5-6 pair. I need affordable, but yet quality running shoes. Sierra Trading Offers that to me. I only wish there was a store right next door, but shopping by catelog and on-line is the best next thing. Many thanks.
By Flaim828 from Littleton, CO on 09/17/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My left shoe wants to suck my sock into it. Could just be my feet, or the socks I wear. But it eats my left sock nonetheless. Very comfy. They fit well. I'm still breaking them in so I don't know how durable they are. I would buy these shoes again.
By The Mom from Colordao on 09/15/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Long boarding, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son has extremely flat feet and Brooks give him the support he needs. It was recommended he put orthotics in his shoes but with the great built in support of Brooks he doesn't need them.
Decent shoe, best as a distance racer By J the Marathoner from Los Angeles, CA on 09/14/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Decent shoe for the price. Would work well as a long distance racing shoe. I used them as everyday trainers, and had noticable ripping on inside heel fabric at 250 miles (but no blisters), probably won't last any past 300 miles. Cool breathable fabric for hot summer training was good too. I would buy them again if I found them for super cheap again.

These shoes worked perfectly for that & at half the price he would have paid elsewhere!
