If you get this, try to get the blue Austin Reed close-out pants also. Together, they make a really nice outfit. You'll need a long-sleeve T-shirt or turtleneck underneath this sweater. It's very nice but it's not as soft as cashmere. When zipped up all the way, the neck is quite high. I have a short neck and really shouldn't wear turtlenecks at all but the sweater is even becoming with the neck somewhat zipped down. I wear a white T-shirt and silver necklace underneath and that crossed zipper still gives it that little interesting difference that makes it something. It's not boxy but figure-flattering without being tight. I like this sweater A LOT.

Very warm and comfortable by itself or over a lightweight shirt underneath. For best look, it must be worn zipped up all the way as it becomes strangely shaped unzipped.

I also like to look original and stylish. The zipper on this sweater adds a fantastic touch and the weight of the wool keeps me nice and toasty. I love clothes that add a fun touch. I sent it to my size 6 daughter who's comment was "I can't believe this is a large!" She loves it. If it had fit properly, I would be saying the same. Buy 2 sizes larger.

All of those features work well for me and I expect that I will get lots of use out of this garment. The Merino wool is lovely - soft and not the least bit itchy. I will most often wear it with jeans or other casual pants, but it could just as easily be worn over a skirt, or with dressier slacks.

I will wear to work at both my office job and later at my ski hill job.

Unfortunately, when I put it on, it was so short and boxy in cut that it made me look dumpy (I'm actually 5'8"). It was also too tight for the size, making it impossible to layer over a t-shirt. The pockets were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. It is with great regret that I'm forced to return it. I don't know anyone apart from an anorexic that would look good in this.
