I'm glad I ordered big. They are super comfortable and offer great cusioning for long runs.

Brooks has never let me down...until now By Lauren the bull from Olympia, WA on 09/15/2009 Pros: Flexible, Lightweight Cons: Almost half size too big, Causes Blisters, Poor shock absorption, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted these to be gym/ walking/ running shoes. Now I only wear them to work (which involves walking a lot in an office setting) because they haven't provided enough shock absorption to even walk at a moderate pace on asphalt.
Replacement for Asics Cumulus By farmergirl from Los Angeles, CA on 09/14/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For months I'd been looking for a shoe to replace the Asics Cumulus, which I wore from the orignal model through the seventh version, after which it was no longer a good fit. I am a neutral runner with a high arch and narrow heel, and I need a wide toe box. Last week I found the first version of the Brooks Ghost, which does the job very well. I scoured the Internet and now have 6 pairs of this recently discontinued model, enough for 2 years of running. (It has recently been replaced by the Ghost II.) Besides being unusually well designed and well crafted, the Brooks Ghost comes in women's half sizes all the way to size 12. I hope other makers will follow suit. Until now, I've generally had to order men's shoes. The Ghost does run short, somewhere between 1/2 and one size short. So order accordingly.

Light weight and cool for warm climates.
By SMS from Denver, CO on 09/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I never got to run in these because they were too small and I sent them back. I ordered a half size up and they were still too small. However, when I tried them on they seemed very supportive for high arches and very lightweight - definitely meant for the neutral runner.
