Very nice glass for the money By Eagle Eyes from San Antonio on 09/12/2009 Pros: Accurate, Compact, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Best Uses: Hunting, Low Visibility Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: All you need to do is get some quality rings to support this nice scope and you'll be in business. No, it's not for 1000 yard shots. If that's what you want, spend $1000-$4000 on a high end scope!

By SGT. ROCK from Canada on 08/12/2009 Pros: Accurate, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own several Pentax Gameseekers, two of which are the 3-9x40 model. They are great scopes within their limitations, the significant one being the short eye relief. I wouldn't recommend them for any rifle with more recoil than .270/30-06 class. My scopes have the Precision Plex reticle, which works great, but the simplicity of the single Plex reticle is better for most hunters.

By Triggerman from Montevallo, AL on 07/01/2009 Pros: Accurate, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've got two of these scopes. One on a 45 cal. inline muzzle loader and the other on a 30'06 bolt action. They compare well with the higher end scopes on some of my other rifles. The scopes are clear, and adjustments are reliable. I've used these scopes at the range and in the field and never encounted a problem with them. The only item I see that could improve them is for the retical to be a little heavier.
