I would use them for daily wear. These are very good for that. You have to be careful with choosing a pair for this purpose because the front of the sunglasses lenses are different color than the view looking out. These are different, a greenish color. You want to look at something without it changing the view from not having the sun glasses on and having them on, while still shielding your eyes from harmful rays and glare. Polarization of the lenses does add to the quality of the view dramatically. I have tried other sunglasses for a similar purpose and would recommend the lighter colored lenses, from the inside. I wish they would provide a picture of the view of the lenses as you look out, rather than the one looking in.
