No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: They probably are sized about right. I've just gotten so used to a little bit of lycra that they feel a little tight and constricting. My fault for losing my head over a bargain and not reading ALL the details. They are 100% cotton and more geared to a fashion look than to hiking. For casual shorts around town, they are fine. Not a bad length, they will cover the rear without looking like geek-shorts.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts were very much smaller than other Columbia pants I have tried. The Sahara Sand pants fit me perfectly and these shorts were extremely tight.
