By Teresa the Teacher from Midwest Iowa on 10/07/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Walking outside Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these shoes because of hearing how comfortable they are, and the GREAT price offered from Sierra Trading Post. They are even more comfortable than I thought they would be - even the first time I wore them! I was told to order a half size bigger and it's a good thing I did. I usually wear a size 7 and ordered the 37 2/3 and they're perfect. Even though they're next to being orthopedic, you would never know it because of how cute they are! MBT has a good product and I will order another pair without hesitation.
By DC dog walker from DC metro area on 10/02/2009 Pros: Durable, Good exercise for legs, Well Made Cons: Heavy, Takes getting used to Best Uses: Casual Wear, Exercise walks, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Quality-minded, Sporty Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my first MBT's. I read the reviews for a while before trying these myself, so I knew to order a full size up. I really like them. They are cute in a nerdy way. I alternate them with my regular walking shoes (I do 3 miles almost every day w/ my dog). The rolling motion minimizes strike points on your foot and eases plantar fasciitis (sp?). I find that it is more difficult to just stand still in these shoes--they really want to move! The downside to me is that these babies are pretty heavy, especially compared to running/walking shoes. Great price for quality shoes!
By Jewel the jogger from Polk County, Fl on 09/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Working In OR Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing MBT's for over 5 years and this is my third pair. I use the sport version to jog. I wear them all day in the operating room. I could tell after wearing them for about a year that in fact my legs were more toned and I didn't get any more hip pain with prolonged standing or jogging! Love my MBT's and would definitely recommend them!
materials inhibit comfort level By lani from Fullerton on 09/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I own several pair of mbt's and truly love what the shoes do for me. I was not expecting these to be as stiff and ungainly for a maryjane style. I have the Kaya and was able to compare by style. The Lami uses a combo of materials in an overconstructed upper. It is not as comfortable as the Kaya and result in an unyielding fit. These shoes are already heavy in construction and support so the stiffer upper was overkill.
By E's mom from St. Louis, MO on 09/07/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these shoes because I had surgery on my Achilles tendons about 20 years ago. There doesn't seem to be a day that goes by that I am not hobbling around at some point feeling very sore. I saw that the designer of the shoes had Achilles tendon problems as well so I thought I would try them. WOW, I am very pleased with the shoes. I only wear them for 1-2 hours a day because I am working on strengthening muscles that have been weak for a long time. I no longer wake up in the morning with soreness and stiffness as I am getting stronger. A huge added bonus is that I can tell my legs are toning up as well. I am someone who exercises 4-5 times a week so I was astounded that these shoes are shaping up my legs! I love the Mary Janes because of the easy on and off velcro strap.

By The Walker from Arizona on 09/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these shoes mainly for long distance walking. With them I have no back, hip or leg pain. A friend borrowed them who has Plantar Faciaitis in both feet and couldn't believe how they got rid of her pain. She has her own now. The only not so great thing is the price.

By Buy 'Em in Every Color from Southern California on 08/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were to be my 2nd pair of MBTs, and I think these are pretty cute. I sure wish they fit! I usually wear European size 41, and I order MBTs in 41 2/3, since I'm aware they run small--the length on these were fine. Unfortunately, without a thick pair of socks these shoes are too roomy, and they'd look totally dorky with socks. There's too much space between my foot and the top of the shoes, so back they go. Rats.
