I have back and knee problems and these shoes don't add to the probles as others do. Very light weight, soft, supple and at times I don't even know that I have them on. When my wife settles down about buying two pair, I may buy a third. Love Em!!

They weren't. They were more like a slipper. I sent them back only because I wanted something I could wear to work, etc and these didn't fit that bill. I slipped them on and they seemed very comfy.

Constructed much more w/ comfort in mind than the original boat shoe, yet are made for everyday use, as well as decks!
