By DCcyclist from Washington,DC on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You really aren't going to get a better jacket for the price. Sure the zipper sometimes gets stuck on the material and the bottom part is a bit tight, but overall this is great. I love how it converts from a jacket to a vest to a fanny pack like thing. And it does so super easily. It also has kept me warm on some cold fall mornings. Good buy!
nice jacket -- great price By Sarena from Amherst, MA on 10/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: wish the blue were a little more irridescent -- it's a pretty color but should be brighter for visibility.
By ChrisF from Ipswich MA on 10/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Commuting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm just getting back into cycling and needed a jacket for these cooler days. This is so comfortable and quite breathable. Have only worn it once, with sleeves, and it was very nice. Definitely a good addition.
Great for wind protection By Pam from KC, MO on 10/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Cons: No Storage, Poor Fit Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this when it is windy. Does not protect against the cool weather. Lightweight. No pockets in back, but the storage pocket. Tried to place things inside it came out the bottom of the jacket. Very tight fit at bottom of jacket otherwise ran true to size.
By Coach Jean from Grand Rapids, MI on 10/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Commuting, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great cycle jacket. My problem is--I am only 5'2" and it was too long on me. It was a great fit, you could even go down a half size. I returned it only because of the length.
Versatile, comfortable, practical jacket By Bikes for fun from Richmond, VA on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Commuting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My first ride in this jacket was a drizzling, windy, 43 degree morning 20 miler. The jacket kept me warm and shed the rain. Lots of nice pockets. It has a two-way zipper so if it's too confining while you're riding, you can unzip the bottom.
The bright color and reflective piping are especially desirable for riding on the road in cloudy conditions.
By m from Massachusetts on 10/15/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fit, comfortable, good jacket to wear running.
By N. VA from N. VA on 10/14/2009 Pros: Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Mountain Biking, Road biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little wide in the shoulders, a little wide in the waist. Would have preferred a medium (I wear a size 8 - 10 and am 5 ' 9 " tall, am small in waist/chest), but kept the large because I need the length in the arms. Not completely wind resistant but for a low priced jacket, it worked great for a 50-degree ride over long sleeves (zipped off sleeves when I warmed up).
By Alex from North Jersey on 10/13/2009 Pros: Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the fact that it easily converts to vest, so it can be used on not so cold windy days.
Comfortable & very functional By Fish girl from Nebraska on 10/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the functionality of the jacket, warm but breathable and fits like a touring jacket. The belt used for the jacket when stowed is a little short and I don't know if Ill use that feature much.
