They were stunning and soft and well made. As others have noted, they ran a bit large. I ordered one size below my usual and it was perfect. However.... I realized once I got them that I would not likely have enough occasions to wear such glitzy pants. Someone who goes out to fine restaurants or clubbing or perhaps to upscale galas would do very well with them. I had hoped to wear them to work but realized they were too flashy for that. Too bad.

I originally ordered these pants for work, but they're dressier than normal workday slacks. They're great looking and have a luxurious feel. I always look for slacks with a back zip. It's very flattering and feminine. I ordered another pair in a different color.

Was pleasantly surprised when the pants arrived [...] and they turned out to be a MUCH darker shade of brown (more of a DARK chocolate) than they appear online. This surprise turned out well for me, but if you're looking for lighter-colored pants, be forewarned.

Almost true. The smaller size was a bit too snug around the belly/butt, but fit everywhere else. The next size fit the belly/butt best but was too big (approx. 1") around waist and hung low. Still, a little alteration and they are ready to go. Nice looking, and very comfortable.
