They are the perfect length, the fabric is thick enough to feel quality but thin enough to not smother (New Mexico in July). If I see these in another color will definitely get another pair.

With the wide, smooth-fiting waistband and wicking properties, they're just perfect, even for a vigorous power vinyasa workout in a hot studio. I may have to get another pair to make sure I have a clean pair available for casual wear.

They're really nothing special, however. I kept two out of the three that I ordered simply because STP offered them at a great price; otherwise, they would have all gone back.
Note: there is no zippered calf pocket as described, only a small key pouch at the inside waist. Also, these are not a trim fit, but more classic.
