By jenrain from Little Rock, AR on 11/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Versatile, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Fall Outdoor Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for a 5-day cycle tour in October. Rain was expected so I wanted something waterproof, breathable, warm, and stowable or detachable hood. This jacked met all of my demands. Very versatile, in the early morning I wore fleece liner and sleeves and peeled off layers as day warmed up. Jacket is a little bulky but was still able to stow everything in my rack bag. Only problem is zippers on both jacket and vest are a little difficult to zip without close attention to alignment.
By Hughes123 from Aptos, CA on 11/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It would be good for layering if you order one size up. I wanted something lighter weight and more fitted so I returned it.
By Firehead Fred from Tremont, MS on 10/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Rainy mod cold Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this jacket. I live in the South, and we don't get many really cold days, mostly moderately cold days with alot of rain. This jacket is perfect for our weather. It has great interior pockets. My teen daughter and her friends think it is very stylish. I think the only reason it is a "second" is that the name brand on the back label is misspelled "Owtfitting."
By Anne from Kalamazoo, MI on 10/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Getting Started Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought several waterproof jackets to try on. This one didn't make the cut and got sent back. The zippers made the shoulders a little big, and I didn't see myself really going to the trouble of unzipping the sleeves and turning it into a vest. I don't see anyone doing that, unless they were travelling and this was their only jacket.
Great Overall Jacket for mutiple use By CWW from Denver, CO on 10/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am planning to use this for XCountry skiing, snowshoeing, cycling for shoulder seasons too and running.
Great for Changing Conditions By Cowdogsbiketoo from Somerset, PA on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in the mountains and this jacket is great especially during changing conditions. Did a big ride last weekend and had high winds, rain, mist, fog and some sun. I just kept taking parts of this jacket and putting them into the pouch in the back or pulling them out and putting the jacket (liner too) back together as things changed. I stayed dry and comfortable. Just bought my mom one for golf and my sister one for running. Can't wait to ski in this with a fleece underneath in the cold.
Much Better Than Expected By Dog Walker on Windy Days from Philly, PA on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this jacket as a "BACK UP" coat (I am forever leaving my rain slicker somewhere inconvenient). I was pleasantly surprised by the construction and look. I think it will become my "primary" jacket. It does run a bit small so I did purchase one size up...It fits great! Thank you Sierra Trading Post (again)

outstanding versatile jacket By Swampsister from Great Green swamp, Florida on 09/14/2009 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Chilly weather or warmish Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got to field test the jacket in the Colorado rockies this past week. It kept me warm in the sleet and dry. And with the removable parts I was able to adjust the warmth of this jacket with the ever changing weather. The liner is removable and when worn over my officio shirt (i got that here too) it was perfect. This jacket is amazing with a cinchable, removable hood, water resistant (i stayed dry) the sleeves and liner are also removable. Hidden pockets inside the lining even. And some reflective tape on the piping. So glad I got this coat. It is a little heavy but was glad of that when the sleet started. And I love the green color - it was true to the picture.
