The basic cut was way too tight. The classic cut was perfect. You will find that great Roper quality in both. Basic was just not the cut for me.

In most jeans I have a big gap at waist, but these only have a tiny one. Hips, thigh, legs are all cut perfect and make walking/working easy. The jeans feel so comfortable I just want to stay in them. They should really make these in shorter lengths as 34 is quite tall; but they are cut so that they are easy to hem to a 31". I usually wear a 12, but got these in 15 and they are perfect. So order larger than usual.
