nice fabric, low and loose waist By cormo from Philadelphia PA on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I want light weight pants with pockets to wear when I bike and when I travel. These will do the job. I prefer pants with a natural waist, and these have a low waist, that runs a bit loose.

I can't really fit into them right now... seems they run on the low end (10)... but once I can fit into them, I think I'll live in them. :) I recommend these - just buy a size up!

By aspiring world traveler from San Diego, CA on 10/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these pants along with the Ex-off streamliner pants in a size 6, 30". These pants fit me perfectly. I am 5'4" and the length was perfect. They aren't baggie and gives a narrow silhouette which makes them look good enough for wearing them to work in an office or out for casual evening. They seem durable and I will take them to hike the Inca trail to Machu Picchu next month. I'm very happy with these pants. On the other hand, the streamliner pants (same size) were huge around my waist and puddled on the floor. I will have to return them.
By World Traveler from Brooklyn, NY on 09/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Too tailored for hiking Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for safari to South Africa but they are too tailored for hiking and too tight/fitted for clambering around. However, I am going to keep them as they will be perfect to change into after a dusty day to go to dinner outside at the boma, or on night safari drives. They really are "nicer" than typical hiking pants and are more suited to the casual traveler at a resort, etc.
By photo nut from Long Beach, CA on 09/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Had to send back size 8-which my other ExOfficio Insect pants are-to get a size 10.The 8 fit, but slightly too snug for a nonstretch fabric, and the 10 is a little too loose. Inconsist sizing within the brand a major irritant. I am actually a size 6 in most brands. But from previous experience I know the bug repellant works well!
