The bodice is lacy and a little see through. I like this feature but had read reviews where it was disappointing to some. It washes very nicely also. The only reason I didn't give it a "5" is because i could do without the tie in back.

Seems everything these days has some lycra, spandex, or polyester - which are pretty hot.

While the fabric is a very light cotton and the style is pretty, it was too sheer for my comfort level. Found the sleeves to be binding and uncomfortable. Item shrunk after I washed it in cold water. Overall I was disappointed.
