Amazing quality and great price! By Aussie from Melbourne, Australia on 06/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Flexible sole, Good Traction, Lightweight, Shock absorben tSole, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: No ankle support-no lace Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took a risk buying these Sorel boots on the internet having never tried them on, as in Australia there really isn't that option. But having done a lot of research, I am aware of how prominent and trusted a brand Sorel is. I really wanted a winter boot that I could wear out and about on the street, but also one I wouldn't have to take off and change if heading up to the alpine district (yes we do actually get snow in Australia). Furthermore, a boot I could invest some money in and know would still be in good working order in years to come. I am a health professional and very particular about what I put on my feet. These boots are very warm, I trust waterproof (obviously harder to test here), easy to slip on (no 50 lace hooks to do up here), and actually have a small amount of arch support (not enough for my liking but way more than most shoes provide). Best of all, that EVA midsole (or whatever they call it) is very effective at absorbing shock. Joint health is a major area of interest for me and I can comfortably say that you won't feel any jarring of ankles, knees or back in these boots. The softness and flexibility of these soles will definitely allow anyone to walk around in them all day long - even on hard pavements. My foot is just under 24 cm long without socks which makes me a U.S. size 7 to 7.5. I followed the advice of the previous reviews that these boots run a bit large, and went for the size 7 as a result. Perfect fit! Oh and as a girl I can't forget to mention how great they look. The slight "Native American Indian" touch makes them quite unique - and already my mum and I are fighting over them! Fantastic product at a fantastic price!

Stylish boots at a great price! By Dog Lover from Rochester, MN on 02/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the boots, but had to order a different size as the first size I bought were too big. I wear both 6 and 6.5 depending on the boot/shoe. The size 6 I have now fits great, even leaving a little space for my toes or extra thick socks.

I own 2 other pairs of Sorels but they are stiffer and more functional. I love their unfailing warmth. Now I have another pair for my wandering mountain dog walks and frigid eves in Denver. Way to go!
