Fashion AND Function DOES exist By Dyan from North Bend, WA on 01/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Here's my story: My husband wanted to get me new winter boots. After looking at all the standard issue boots I said, "C'mon...can't there be fashion WITH function?" He hit the mark with these! My first week in them was spent in below freezing temps and 3+ feet of snow in the mountains of northern Idaho. Whether I was shoveling snow, snow shoeing or walking the dogs my feet were always warm and dry. Plus, I didn't think twice wearing them out to dinner to a nice Sandpoint restaurant. I couldn't wait to get home to write my review: Yes, Fashion AND Function DOES exist!
For those who have cold feet. By P.K. from Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 01/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have had a huge amount of snow this winter. I thought I'd never have warm feet in the winter. But the boots are very good. I have to wiggle my way into them, but they aren't really hard to get into, just normal for a boot. They are very nice looking and extremely comfortable. They have a nice solid sole, but its not too heavy. And my feet really were warm except for a short period of time when they were a bit cold but not as bad as usual. The weather here is actually colder than it is in Alaska so its a great place to test winter boots. I recommend them.
By Megatron from Boston, MA on 12/31/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Fabulous, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, New England Winter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I opened the box and gasped! I had no idea how pretty they were going to be. I got them for Christmas because I just moved to Boston and had no winter weather gear. Of course it was 55 the entire week after I got them, but today is my first snow storm, and I haven't taken them off! Very warm, completely waterproof and very stylish. The lining is SUPER soft. Awesome boot, would suggest to anyone who wants to be toasty warm, play in the snow and still look classy.
