Very warm with lots of ankle support By TSinCO from Golden, CO on 11/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots to serve as intermediary footwear between my summer hiking boots and my heavy winter boots. While I have had the opportunity to wear them only a few times so far, they have been very warm and comfortable, with lots of ankle support.
Since I've had them for only a couple of weeks I can't comment on their durability yet, but they seem well constructed and should serve me well should colder weather every arrive (it's been a very mild, dry fall in the foothills).

It's not winter yet, but I do alot of hiking and fishing and my feet are warm and dry.
