perfect kick around boots By Forsy from Minneapolis, MN on 12/23/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Chaffes in certain areas Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great shoveling boot and trekking around
do errands boot. My only con is the way the tongue on the boot comes up to your ankle. During certain leg movements the hard enclosed tongue chaffes my ankle. This is tolerable but if I where hiking in the snow for a week straight I wouldn't use these boots. They are a good couple hours a day outside boot.
Fit around ankles is too tight By Forever looking for the right boots from Colorado Springs,CO on 12/22/2008 Cons: Heavy, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are really tight fitting around the ankles and thus not comfortable at all. Great construction, just not comfortable.

By sjdart from central Illinois on 12/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk my dogs and shovel snow, etc. When I have to do work outside, these are the shoes I wear. They are not as warm as I expected, but I did not have proper winter boots last year (through two 10+ inch Illinois blizzards and an ice storm) -for a minute I thought I was going to lose a toe. I like these waterproof shoes where I can just walk without watching where I need to step, I can pay attention to the task at hand with the traction to get there!
Nice teen friendly winter boot. By Jana the Jeweler from www.bananablossom[@] on 12/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My 14 year old son actually agreed to wear these to school! They pass the "cool" test! I think it's the lower cut hiker style. He can more easily wear them all day - and he would nnnevvver change his boots at school. as if!
comfortable, not as warm as hoped for By flcttx from fw, tx on 12/05/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good build, Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in north texas, so not much snow. But, we do have winter soccer here and I coach. Thus, I don't really get to run around and warm up. I was looking for a pair of boots that would keep my toes warm on the frigid, motionless nights. I have used these twice now in temperatures at about the freezing mark. I have seen a good improvement in warmth, but i really think these aren't the most warm out there (they said -25F in the description). They seem a good build and will last a long time at my level of use. They are comfy and sturdy. Good product, great price with further discounts via email
By jammerman from Huntington Beach CA on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these boots for two purposes - for trips to the mountains in So Cal during the winter (snow, cold and wet) and for an upcoming winter trip to Alaska. I'm and avid hiker and these compare favorably with the boots I use for hiking, and appear to have enough insulation to keep my feet warm for winter use

comfortable but stiff waterproof boots By Donna the winter explorer from St. Louis, MO on 11/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I hike off trail a lot in winter and I need a good waterproof boot that has excellent traction and is warm. This boot has all that. It is comfortable but the sole is somewhat stiff. I am hoping as the season progresses it will loosen up.
