By Craig from Soldotna, Alaska on 11/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The back of the boot above the heel is cut low to allow ankle range of motion, which is nice. However, it is cut so low that pants do not cover the top of the boot well there. In order to keep snow out of the boots I find that I have to use gaitors even when walking through just a few inches of new snow.
