So far so good, very warm By He who walks to work from Bend, OR on 11/17/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn these a couple times and they have performed wonderfully. Very warm, almost to the point of too warm for weather above 40 deg. F. The breathe-ability is pretty good, but my feet sweat easily. Only con so far is the stiffness in the back of the boot against my heel; I anticipate this problem will diminish with more breaking-in.

I ordered the 14 which feels about a half size too large. The boots are great for shoveling and snow blowing, I am happy to finally have waterproof warm boots.

I have a steep driveway and I have to be careful. Other wise they are light weight, comfortable, very warm and dry.We just had a wet slushy snowstorm,a couple of feet deep. And they were great (except while walking on my steep driveway).

Nice boot, but sizing is elusive. By long4trails from Granada Hills, CA on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boot feels more supportive than the average pack boot. However, following many of the comments below, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my dress shoe size (9.5 vs 10), but they were just a tad too small (and fairly narrow at the toe). My foot is generally fairly narrow, so this surprised me (again, based upon the prior reviews). STP was out of a size 10 and 10.5 so I have to move on to another boot. I recommend you order close to your normal size, perhaps 1/2 larger.
