By JE ready to ski from Alberta on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the large and they fit my hands perfect. My hands are 7.5 inches from tip to wrist. THe thumb does feel snug but I'm hoping a little time on the slopes will pack that down. All in all for the price, they are exactly what I was looking for.
By Leauxra from Loveland, CO on 09/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got these in the mail, and am delighted at the quality and fit. On trying them on, my hands started to overheat almost immediately in my kitchen. I ski, snowshoe, and hike all winter, and found that it is a rare mitten that will keep my hands warm in January dawn wind... I can't wait for it to get cold.
I tested these out with my camera, and I am able to turn it on, zoom, and take a picture, but not much else.
Note on size: my hands are 6 and 3/4 inches from base of the palm to fingertip, and the Medium size fits perfectly. If your hands are over 7 inches, these will be too short.
Also, the tag reads "100% Natural Goose Down", not the 70/30 blend that the description lists.
