Going on a 12 day horse trek where riding and hiking are involved. One pair of boots for both uses.
Boot a little narrow although length good. I have small feet so should not be narrow.
By Free Spirit from Seattle, WA on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Horseback riding, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these Shanes to replace my old horseback riding sneakers. I find that riding sneakers work best if I buy them 1/2 size too long (like some people fit walking or running shoes). Therefore, I ordered my usual size, and they fit perfectly for riding. I love the color and styling, and they are very comfortable. The price is much lower than I have found anywhere. I would definitely buy these again.

By Trying to Stay dry in the Pacific NW from Graham, Washington on 09/15/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They do run about a 1/4 of a size larger. I wear between a 7 and 7.5 so I went with the 7.5 and they ARE a big large, a little more than thumb room at the toe. But I'm keeping them for winter to use with heavier socks.
