Exactly what I was looking for By oldsoldier from MA on 08/14/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a nice wool shirt, that I can wear as a light jacket from April till September, that is durable, functional, & practical. In this Moose Creek shirt, I found EXACTLY that. This is a heavyweight shirt, that I throw on on cool nights around a campfire. It keeps the chill out, keeps the bugs off, and fits nicely overall. The size L is about right; I have a large chest, but not long arms, so I am usually forced to by size L clothing. This actually fit reasonably well, with a little extra material in the upper arm area, but not too bad. The feel is exactly what you'd expect; wool. Some folks call the material itchy; me, it doesnt particularly bother me. This is an ideal shirt for cooler days, spring & fall nights, and to keep bugs off the arms when fishing. I'd highly recommend this shirt if you are looking for a multi functional piece of clothing. The weight of it is similar to the old Army wool shirts they used to issue us...which wasexactly what I was looking for.
