By Yankee from western Massachusetts on 02/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My feet have never been so comfortably warm and dry while outside in the winter. I am a adult with size 8.5 feet, and the size youth-7 fits me like it was custom made. I couldn't ask for more out of a boot.
By drcarlson from colorado on 01/16/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizes are misleading. My 2 1/2 year old son is a size 9 in toddler sizes. After confirming the size with a sales rep on the phone I ordered the size 9 listed on the web site. When I recieved the boot it was labled as a "kids boot" but was really an adult size. I could actually put my size 10 foot in the boot and wear them if I wanted too! Needless to say it was way to big for my son to wear. Also the drawstring top does not close well enough to prevent snow from getting inside, and the boot does not seem comfortable enough to do any serious walking or hiking.
By Steph from Ukiah, CA on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not true to size, Too big for youth size Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for a nine year old girl because the title said for youth, but the size was way to big, I was able to fit my adult size 8 foot into her boot and I still had too much room. be careful when ordering sizes for youth on this site, there isn't any specific age ranges posted which makes it hard to decide. The drawstring enclosure allows the foot to slip inside the boot and will not keep snow completely out of the boot. Needs better tie mechanism.

They are easy for her to get on and off by herself. They are well made and I will be able to pass them on to her two younger sisters.

Just what my son was looking for... By Winter Mama from Colorado on 11/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Living in the Rockies a sturdy, comfy boot is essential for my kids. Having worn out the last two pairs so quickly, we were looking for a soft feeling boot that was tough enough to last beyond a couple of months of snow, skiing and sledding fun. So far, so good, although the season has really just begun...
