HIgh Quality Convertibles By BonkMan from Madison, WI on 10/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are up to the usual high standards of Ex Officio. Quality materials, good stitching, true fit. I have a couple of other pairs of convertibles (North Face, off-brand) and wouldn't travel or backpack without them. Note that these include a built-in liner, so if that's not your thing, either look elsewhere or grab a pair of scissors. Paid under $30 at Sierra, would have happily paid twice as much.

By PLum from Sacramento, CA on 08/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's hard to give accurate feedback so early after receipt but I now am the proud owner the three pairs of convertible pants. All are excellent... one Ex Officio Amphi and two different weights of Columbia. Wore to church, of all places, and they were great... very comfortable in our moderate Summer climate. I did not have to shorten the Amphi at all and the waist was ultimately a perfect 38.
