By Katuma from California on 10/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a lightweight, long-sleeved shirt for my first African safari. This shirt worked quite well. I first ordered a Large, my normal size, but it felt a bit small so I exchanged it for an XL, which was fine. It held up well to extensive use both in hot and cooler weather, hiking and game driving. My ownly (slight) dislike was the color - I wanted a neutral color and the only one available in my size was Acorn - an odd dark brown. Otherwise, it perfectly suited my purpose.
By Satisfied customer from Tucson, AZ on 10/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries quickly, Lightweight, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not exactly SHORT, but a bit more length would be helpful to keep shrit tucked in pants.
I will use the shirt for travel/casual wear.
By tellerarms from Colorado Springs, CO on 10/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Hiking, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice shirt. It really wicks away moisture, so it is nice for hiking or any activity that would require prolonged wear while perspiring. It feels a little short in the arms and the length, but otherwise...nice shirt.
By Emily hiker from walnut creek, ca on 09/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a shirt that goes anywhere. It is so light weight, it is one of the few shirts I can wear hiking in hot weather. It is also stylish enough to wear casually. My favorite sun shirt.
By Hikette from Monterey, CA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Hiking, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shirt for hiking. Just took it up Half Dome and it was warm enough when we started in the dark and cool + wicking when it got hot during the day. Dries quickly, easy care and no need to iron. Love the breast pockets: they don't stand out, but the zipper makes them very practical.
By cwoody from Minnesota on 09/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered two of these shirts and absolutely love them. They can be worn comfortably alone, or layered under a t-shirt or tank. The sleeves are a perfect length. The only drawback is that the shirts are a little short. The bottom is finished with a straight hem and a little slit for ease of movement, so they look great untucked. I've worn my shirts canoeing/backpacking, camping, and even to work. I'm glad I purchased two!
Absolutely love this shirt By style+comfort shopper from Memphis, TN on 09/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Followed advice of reviewers and bought a size larger but ended up sending back for my normal size (XS). Perhaps small across chest for some but not for me. Loose-fitting at bottom, yet the perfect length not to tuck in, so fit is so comfortable yet appears neat and professional. Fabric is featherweight yet not see-through. From casual work to camping - I now have 5 of them!
Nice shirt, but a little hot By canyon walker from Flagstaff, AZ on 09/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Camping, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt fits well (I like the long sleeves because they cover my hands), but it's a bit too hot to use for sun protection on a warm day. I was hoping to use it instead of sunscreen, but the weave is very tight and therefore it warms up quickly. The benefit of this, however, is that it can be used as a light (very light) wind breaker. Otherwise, I like this shirt.
Really, really cool shirt!
