By Mary from Ellensburg, WA on 06/16/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizing was just off on these shoes. Normally I have worn an 8B in NB without any problem...and neither the 8B or the 81/2 fit right? Don't know why.
By P90Xer from Chesapeake, VA on 06/15/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these for P90X! I bought two pairs of these shoes in the same size so I can rotate them and let them dry thoroughly between workouts. I've never worn New Balance before (have always been a Nike fan because I have very high arches), but I'm glad I gave these a try. The arch is not as high as Nike, but it's not a problem for me since I use these purely for gym training and don't run in them. At first I thought the shoe fit a bit tight, particularly in the toe, but it stretched out very quickly. I wore the first pair around the house for a bit before working out in them, but the second pair I put on and immediate hit the gym mat and had no problem at all. They are sturdy without being stiff and super comfy. And at this price, how can you go wrong?
By Fit Grandma from Pendleton, OR on 06/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Walking Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As always, New Balance athletic shoes run 1/2 size small. Keep that in mind, and the fit is great. This is my fourth pair. I usually get the "Country Walkers" as they never look dirty. This is my first pair of white athletic shoes in years. Time will tell how they look after 6 months.
I like my new New Balance shoes By The Gardener from Sacramento, CA on 06/08/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible Best Uses: Everyday wear, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed new gardening shoes and these fit my needs. They are comfortable for long wearing everyday. I`ve got really big feet and I`m so thankful to find a good shoe that fits so well. It`s hot here, during the summer, yet my feet feel just fine- never too hot.
By jingle from Northern Calif. on 05/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Have had NB shoes in B width work out before but these are definitely narrow. Hoping they'll stretch with time. Toe box narrower than some styles. Also swapped out insole for one with better arch support. Don't seem too bad when actually walking but constricting otherwise. Going up a 1/2 size doesn't work for me and wish these were offered in 7.5 D.
