I tried, but I couldn't get them to fit By Telechick from NEPA on 10/18/2009 Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a fairly wide size 7 foot but I usually don't have problems finding shoes that fit. These were the exception. I ordered 2 successively smaller sizes and they still were too big in the heel - every time I took a step my heel would lift out. I had to send them back.
They looked like nice shoes and were attractive, but the fit was very strange.
By average jane from johnson city, tn on 09/14/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would consider my feet as average. The shoes were extremely narrow and would be comfortable for someone with narrow feet.
By Muirkat from Boulder Creek, CA on 09/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Cons: There's some heel lift Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This light hiking shoe is perfect for quick outdoor jaunts; ie; walking the dog, easy hike, etc. The size was surprisingly big. I own other Salomon shoes which already run 1/2 size larger, however this pair ran a whole size larger than my regular shoe size.(Normally a 6.5 but ordered 5.5) A bit of a heel lift going on but if I lace up snug and with a bit of a break in, it should become a true favorite.....good price! :)

By Deb the hiker from Bloomington, IN on 09/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Wide toe path Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There is plenty of room for your toes--a must for avid hikers.Good heel space too. However, the European sizing doesn't match up with American sizes--so I suggest ordering 1/2 to 1 size smaller.

They were comfortable and light weight and did not need much breaking in. For the price, you can't go wrong.
