Great shoes, incredible price By On the trail again from Albuquerque, NM on 07/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking at some lightweight trail hiking shoes and found Salomans to be very comfortable and well-cushioned. They have a nice round toe-box and feel really good on. I've been very prone to blistering when hiking lately and haven't had a single one with these.

I wear them all day to work where I stand on my feet 50% of the time. My feet do not ache at the end of the day. I love the extra wiggle room in the toe area. These were a great deal for the price!!

By Sensitive-footed soul from Lafayette CO on 07/01/2009 Pros: Durable, Great orthotic, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great light hikers. However, I wore them around the house with Smartwool socks and found that the orthotic was much too supportive for my foot on the arch side and outer arch area. I loved that the toe box was quite ample and the rest of the features were ideal; except the orthotic made my feet ache after a half hour of wear, and it was a relief to take them off.
