By Bought for Kayaking from Maryland on 10/07/2009 Cons: Dry Slowly, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Recreational Watersporter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was expecting a much more comfortable shoe. Hopefully they will wear in and be better. I used them for kayaking and they worked but they didn't provide the support I was hoping for. I left them in my truck overnight and they were still wet. Anyway I was expecting more for the price and the brand.

By brian p crossfit from Augusta, GA on 09/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Fit, Lightweight Cons: Difficult On and Off Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Novice User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes to use when rafting but haven't used them in the water yet. They're really light, fit well, comfortable and are very breathable. This makes me think they'll be quick drying and good in a raft. A little cumbersome to take on off since you need to tuck the laces in the tongue pocket, but the speed laces are still far superior to any other laces I've used.
Salomon Tech 2 Water shoes By SpinReelFisher from Sacramento, CA on 08/21/2009 Pros: Drains very well, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Slightly Narrow, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Fishing, Kayaking, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes are great water shoes. I recommend checking out the sizing at a local sporting goods store prior to ordering - it helps. The shoes drain very well, and they are pretty good at keeping debris out. The insoles seem removable, but aren't really. They're glued in, so don't try to pull them out, you can damage them. The heel isn't glued, but up near the toe is.
If you have wide feet, these shoes are not the best option. The width is a little snug, and because of that they aren't the best for any kind of duration use.
The rear strap is very functional, and it allows for a great ability to snug your foot in and get a "glove like" fit. Very convenient on/off with the ?kevlar? quick laces.
Overall, it has all the features of a great shoe, but it's a little hard on someone who has wide feet.

By snow/sun/fun/oregon from Aloha,Or on 08/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Traction Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like these shoes. I bought them after I got some for my wife, and liked the construction of hers. Good looking, cool, comfortable w/ & w/o socks. They are easy on & off in the airport. We got these for our trip to Kauai, wandered on the beaches and around shopping & the sights & on a boat. Didn't slip at all. Easy on the feet. Single caveat...Adjustable strap does not stay snug...the shoes don't come off, just loosen. Hence the insecure comment.
Best water shoes I've worn By Matt the boater from Worcester, MA on 08/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Kayaking, Sailing, Wading Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought them for boating. Boat ramps can be brutal on the feet (not to mention broken glass). The water shoes I was buying in the store were slippery on the trailer, had no support, were constantly filling with sand, and would fall apart after about a weeks wear. So even though I have only worn these twice so far they are already 100% improvement
