Comments:
I like this shoe! I haven't had it long enough to speak about long-term durability, but it feels as if it will take a beating - while not feeling heavy on my feet. For cold weather, I would want heavier socks, as the shoe does not keep my feet warm. BUT - this shoe has room for hiking socks, and yet it's not too loose with my everyday cotton socks. I work my dogs in rally obedience, agility, herding, and carting. It is delightful to have footwear that I can move fast in, change direction quickly, walk the trails - AND have dry feet at the end!!! The only downside I have found in this product is that the insole seems slightly "bony". It's not uncomfortable, but almost. Not sure I'd want to wear this shoe all day every day. However, I've only had it a short time - it may soften up a bit as it breaks in. It's perfect for what I bought it for, and has potential for many other activities. I like it!

I wear these to work and to walk in. Awesome reflectors and seem to be well made. I have not worn them in the rain yet but there is a moneyback garantee on the gortex.

[...]I was shocked at how big, clunky, heavy and stiff this shoe is. I was a test pilot for their very first women's goretex trail runners and I adored them, which is why I ordered these. They were not the same or even close; I sent them back.

Comments:
These shoes are very comfortable, and I was able to use them right away on a 4-mile run on pavement. I got to a spot that was damp and a little dirty, and I noticed that the shoes didn't grab well. They slid a bit every time I pushed off. The next day I went on a short hike and needed to cross wet rocks. Not good with these shoes! I had to be very careful; they didn't provide any traction, and I felt precarious. Since I frequently cross muddy or wet rocks when hiking, these shoes will not work for me.

I use these shoes anytime the weather is a little colder and wetter which is a lot in Colorado. They are warm and keep my feet dry. I really like the pull-up lacing system. The laces are kind of long but can be tucked into the loops on the top of the shoe. I would buy these shoes again!

I use these shoes mostly for work since I walk on concrete all day and day hikes and I love them. They are very comfortable,no break in period and no hot spots either (blisters). I didn't even have to put my shock doctors in them. They've got excelent traction and are very breathable. My feet feel very secure in them. Overall love them and am glad I spent the money on them.

I can not say enough about these shoes. I had a new horse in that stepped on my foot and broke it. These are the only shoes I found that I feel no pain when I walk. The shoes cradle my foot and just LOVE them. They look great with jeans too.
