By Marie from Long Island, NY on 10/08/2009 Pros: Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket was a little small. I recommend ordering a size larger than you think you need.

Great for Cold Weather Activities By Cruiser from Louisiana on 03/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great choice if you need the warmth. I tried three jackets and this one came in second - I returned it because it seems warmer, bulkier, puffier, and more like a ski jacket than I need. Lots of features and pockets. Good fit, not boxy.
Inside jacket is more wearable than any I tried.
By active chick 27 from wilmington, de on 02/22/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The green jacket is really cute, looks too bulky with both pieces but I'll probably only wear one at a time. I normally wear a size 6 pant, found the small just right and the medium too big.

I would buy this product again By moni62 from Bern Switzerland on 02/08/2009 Pros: Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is a perfect jacket for skiing in Switzerland.
It is impotant to order a bigger size it fits small.
It would be nice, if there were more pockets, like one for the skipass.
By campingtabi from georgia on 02/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Everyday use for multiple, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter campinghiking Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket after a very cold camping trip. i swore i would never go camping in such weather again without a good jacket! The whirlibird is perfect. I haven't been camping with it yet, but we have had quite a cold spell and I have worn it daily to and from work and on long walks with our dog even in the rain. Very warm, very breathable, very comfortable, very waterproof. I love this jacket!
By TJ from Iowa on 02/03/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Cons: Pit area feels tight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The coat is a bit tight in the arm pit area when I'm wearing a thick sweater or layered tops. Other than that I like everything about the coat. The colors are great and it feels light weight. We've had some below 0 temperatures lately and I've been staying warm. I'd say the coat was a good deal considering the price I paid.
Love it! Great color and good fit. By Tired of winter from Minnesota on 01/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the fun color. Very warm.
More coat than I expected By J the outdoor navigator from Westhampton, MA on 01/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was impressed with how many special features this coat had. The inner coat is even stylish on its own.
My only complaint is that there isn't quite enough breathing room around the chest and stomach. You could not wear a sweater beneath it without feeling bulky and restricting movement. If you like breathing room, you may want to order one size up.
