By Deborah from Davenport, Iowa on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Just Staying Warm Describe Yourself: Getting Started Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is absolutely a great coat. I love it! It totally keeps me warm although I wish it were about 6 inches longer. I'm 6 ft. tall and wear a size 12/14. I went with a size XL because of the other reviews saying it ran a little small. The XL fit great. No short arms and it certainly keeps the wind from coming through. I got it just to keep warm...I'm not a skier or a cold weather sports person, just a gal trying to stay warm! [...] Don't care for the double zipper. I look forward to shopping w/ Sierra Trading Post in the future.

It fits beautifully and is warm without being too bulky. She is going to test it out for snowboarding and hopefully it will perform as well as it looks.

I purchased this jacket for my wife as a back-up to her Columbia powderkeg jacket. She loves it. She tells me that it is extremely warm and comfortable. The only word of advice is that the jacket does seem to run a bit small. My wife wears a small, but I purchased a medium on the advice of other reviews. The medium fit her perfectly.

By Satisfied Customer from Sweet Home, OR on 12/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading the other reviews on this coat, I already knew that it ran a little small. With that in mind, I ordered the XL for my 14-yr old daughter and it fits her perfect! It's a great coat for everyday. It has several features that add to the usefulness of the coat. The drawstrings along the bottom of the coat and in the hood make it easy to adjust for the perfect fit. There are lots of pockets in both the liner and the outer jacket. The inner liner even has some decorative embroidery on the front so that it's a little nicer looking when you wear it by itself. I like ther versatility of the coat - the ability to wear either or both of the jackets. It's stylish yet very practical. If they would have had bigger sizes, I would have ordered another one for myself!

By snow bird in the south from florida on 12/24/2008 Pros: Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for a ski trip. I live in Florida so I really like the fact that you can remove the fleece liner and wear either the shell or the liner separate. I bought a medium and a small for size and I chose the medium even though I wear x-small. I felt like the medium gave me freer movement. I must say that looking in the mirror I think I look like the stay-puff marshmellow man, but I am comfortable, warm, and ready for the slopes! I also love all the pockets.
