By Grandma H from Yakima, Washington on 11/06/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features Best Uses: Bad Weather, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for my daughter who is the avid cyclist. I could tell she was pleased with the fit and liked the placement of the back pockets. She is in between a small and medium and the medium size fit perfect. Wore it for a short ride and was impressed:)
Great jersey, esp for the sale price. By KT from Ogden, UT on 11/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, this has been an awesome jersey. I don't know how durable it is, I've only used it twice. But it's functional and flattering. The rear pockets aren't as spacious as most cycling jerseys so be prepared that you can't put a lot of stuff in them. I've been wearing it in temps 45F and up w/short sleeve base layer underneath and it has been very comfortable. It's thin enough so it's easy to layer under or over it. I could not find another long sleeve women's jersey, esp at this sale price, anywhere!
By kwai from Richmond, VA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Pockets are too small Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear between a small and a medium, and bought a medium. It is definitely snug, but kept me reasonably warm on a 50 degree day with a windbreaker vest.
By al from denver on 10/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really nice looking and fitting shirt - went up a size which is normal in womens cycling shirts since I think they are made for men and then retrofitted for women. Feels nice and looks great - Im not sure why the carbon is such a "hot" item - I dont notice that it is different then other high end shirts. The full zip is really a plus.
Lightweight for "Thermal" By Exercise Enthusiast from Westford, MA on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jersey, very form-fitting and flattering. However, I'll most likely use it for running vs. cycling as it is too lightweight to be considered "Thermal" for cycling in New England.
By Deb from St Louis, MO on 10/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered one size up for layering underneath. The fit is great but I am petite so I have to roll the sleeves. Careful as fabric can snag.
Love the pocket storage.
Warm, Soft, and an Attractive Fit By MET from New York City on 10/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the women's specific fit, rear pockets and fabric feel
A fashionable & functional jersey! By Joy(euse) from The chilly Midwest on 09/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Looks Great Best Uses: Road Racing, Training rides Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I LOVE the look & feel of this jersey. It's very fashionable (and I'm picky--my go to jerseys are Etxe Ondo). Like most Descente gear I own, I sized up from my usual US manufacturer size. I'd say this runs a 1/2 size smaller than most US cycling gear so if you're on the bubble between sizes or if you're busty, I'd recommend going up a size. It runs long in the torso (which is a plus for me), so if you're tall and get frustrated with jerseys that are too short, you'll love this one. Also, this looks fashionable enough to wear off the bike--not something you see every day.
By 48 year old athlete from south western ontario on 08/25/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket. I got it for a decent price ( would never pay full retail on this one). Can be used on the bike or as casual wear. It is just a smidgen tight in the wasit. I am 5"8,140 lbs and chest size 36B. I don,t think that I would have gotton the large. It is a snug fit and flattering. I am a teacher and like to wear these kinds of jackets in the winter for teaching with a cami it should be perfect. It is also perfect for cycling to work.
