By Day hiker from New York from New York, New York on 10/30/2009 Pros: Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe looks good, and is fairly well constructed for the price. However, there is either a seam or piece of glue inside the toe box that causes painful rubbing on the foot. Maybe I just got a bad pair.

By Robert in Cambodia from Kampot Town, Cambodia on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: we do missionary work in Kampot, Cambodia. These shoes will meet the daily challenges presented in a 3rd world environment, esp during the rainy season. As for the soles staying on, only time will tell. The last pair of Columbias lost the sole after about a year and all the glue available here would only keep the sole on for about a week. That was a different model than the current shoes.
