Nice looking shoes...very uncomfortable! By Brit4PSU from Columbus, IN on 08/24/2009 Pros: Attractive design, Water-friendly Cons: Poor arch position, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Kayaking, Rafting, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After trying these shoes on, I have decided to return them. The lining of the shoe makes them feel like the arch is on the outside of the foot, not the inside. I have fairly "normal" feet and do not generally make arch considerations at all, but these were very uncomforatble.
I had intended to use these shoes as a backup to my hiking boots on backpacking trips. I thought they would be great for rainy weather since they are supposed to dry quickly. I have not tested this out as they are en-route back to Sierra Trading Post.
