Great for the Seattle Winter By Lydia from Seattle on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Hiking, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are big enough to fit over my work clothes, but aren't too bulky. They're a little long for me (5'3") but there are snaps at the ankles that snug them up enough so that they don't drag. They make my rainy day walks a lot more pleasant.
By busy mom from San Francisco, CA on 11/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for the future Hawaii vacation and for casual in case pouring rain. The material seems fine even a little bit rigid compared with my another rain pant. This is really long that I can't hem it because they have buttoms at the end.
I will keep it since I trust Columbia and hope I would tuck it in my waterproof shoes as need.
I hope they can have a design for shorter the pant or with a pettite size.
These pants do what they are supposed to By Biking in the Rain from Philadelphia, PA on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was hoping I could bike in these pants but the bottoms are just too big. They are comfortable though and will be good for hiking or walking in the rain. Very comfortable. I bought a size too big though - they are huge and look like MC Hammer pants on me. Not so stylish but sort of amusing!
By finnjaminn from new rochelle, ny on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Ventilation, Too short Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i bought these pants to wear when i bike to the train station for work.
they are totally waterproof...and they drain all the water straight into your shoes. i'm 5'8" and they're not long enough, but i'll adapt them.
additionally, i got a medium and i usually wear a 10-12 size jean. so if you plan to wear them alone, order small. if you're wearing them over clothing, order true to size.
By The NYC Walker from NY NY on 10/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Cross Country, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I couldn't be happier I had to return the black pair because they were too large. The person on the phone was very helpful and I got the smaller brown pair very quickly. The next time it rained and I needed them they were there.

I kept the larger size though to wear over layered britches and thermals and there are snaps at the bottom tighten up the lower leg. Eros Lake rainpants are a very useful addition to your inclimate weather wardrobe!
By stvnflt from Sequim, WA on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Rainy weather sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked these pants, but I wish they had some pockets. I first bought a Large, which was much too large. I exchanged them for a Med., which was still a little large and a little long, but they were great with gaiters. They were very comfortable when I wore them hiking in the rain. Just don't expect them to be breathable.

These are not bulky and awkward like much waterproof clothing. You could walk off the trails and into a coffee shop in perfect comfort.
