Very Comfortable, Serious Tread By Dolesy from Boston, MA on 10/29/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Looks Great, Stable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very happy with these shoes, I believe they look better in person. I have about 5 pairs of Columbia shoes and I find they all fit different. These are the biggest of the bunch. I am a pretty standard size 11, maybe a little wide but most size 11 shoes fit pretty consistently. I would say these feel just a bit bigger than most but for casual wear, it probably makes them more comfortable. I was concerned that they would be cold for winter time having the canvas front but not at all. Overall very happy and very comfortable!

Go with the canvas top only By KNL from Colorado on 10/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Looks Great, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First ordered the beige shoe with the jute top. The jute quickly and easily frayed. Exchanged them for the brown with the canvas top. The canvas seems very durable. Very comfortable shoe--did not need any breaking in time. Good for general wear, casual, to work, walking the dog. Has a tread like sole so it provides good traction on dirt and gravel. Good support. Shoe is a little wide, which I like.I can tighten the laces if I want them snugger. Heel grip is good and padded. If you are between sizes, order a 1/2 size up as the toe box is a little low. I like them so much I may order another pair in black.
By progeny project from Grand Rapids, MI on 09/28/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Looks Great Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these shoes as a replacement for my casual dress shoes. They seem to fit the bill well, I've had a lot of positive comments about their appearance. Typically I buy size 14, but when I got these, they were a bit too big. I returned the 14's and exchanged them for 13's now they are jut fine. Overall, a pretty good shoe.
Great product, value [...] By R.W. from brick,nj on 09/24/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just as I expected; light, breathable, comfortable and stylish-all with a great price!
Good shoe with major flaw By KNL from Colorado on 09/03/2009 Cons: Poor material, Stains Easily, Wear Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Jute top of shoe started to fray and come apart at crease line after wearing for only a week. I put some glue on the spots to stop the breakdown. Very poor fabric choice for a shoe! And the jute seems to get dirty easily. I should have just returned them, but they are comfortable and I like the style. I won't wear them to the office as I had started to, but will keep them for more casual wear and hope the jute holds up. If you wear an "in between" size, order a 1/2 size up as the toe box is kinda tight (but the shoe is wide). I returned the first pair when I first got them (before I wore them around) and got a larger size for that reason.
