By Tofo from Salt Lake City, UT on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Cons: Laces weak, Slippery on Rock Snot Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots for the price, got them on here for [$]. They provide great ankle support, and are grippy on most surfaces when you'd need a felt sole. Surfaces covered in rock snot, however are still very slick, but I don't think any boot (studded or otherwise) can make that situation better.I have put 4 6-mile days walking down the river on them, and countless days in the 1-3mi river range. My feet haven't felt uncomfortable once.I did notice that the felt seemed to wear out a bit fast if you walk on sidewalks (yes, i know you're not supposed to do that), but on the up side Patagonia will warranty that kind of wear.
By lefthanded caster from Billings Mt on 10/06/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots for fly fishing in swift rivers. The first outing I went commando with no waders and got huge blisters. I have used them every time since with breathable waders and they are an excellent wading boot no blisters!
By Ausable1 from Traverse City, MI on 10/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn the boots fishing once as I've just bought them but they are lightweight, dry quickly (faster than my riverwalkers, the sole of which detached this year after only two years)and provide decent support. I hope this boot is better than my previous one by the same maker.
By T. from Colorado on 09/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Loved these boots, light and comfortable, used
them this week in Montana.
By Flyfisher33 from Corvallis, OR on 09/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are extremely lightweight and make walking long distances to your angling location very easy. The neoprene tongue creates a great gravel guard. I do see a potential problem with the laces breaking from wear and tear. If you do alot of river fishing then these boots are for you!

I was the envy of man weekend in these! By Velvet Hammer from Grand Junction, CO on 09/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I experienced a little slip, especially on larger mossy rocks. That may mostly be my lack of skill. Overall I am very happy with these boots.

Patagonia Canyonwalker Felt By ole gaffer from Alaska on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Effective lacing system, Good Grip, Gravel guard clip place, Great toe box, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot has fine support, excellent drainage, easy entry and removal. Haven't used them long enough to comment on durability, but they appear to be well made.
By flyfish55 from Seattle, WA on 09/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Good Support, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore these all day wading/boating... very lightweight but very sturdy. In fact I am hoping they break in a bit, they are pretty stiff out of the box. Surprisingly good support for such a light weight boots. Lots of room in the boot to accomodate 5mm of neoprene. The only issue might be the nylon lace loops, I tied one boot too tight and it bit my ankle. Now that I know I'll tie a bit loose and I know the support will still be fine.
