By Paul from Long Branch, NJ on 09/02/2009 Pros: Easy To Transport, Perfect for small fish Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I rated it 3 because for a child or for someone catching fish in a small boat in a creek it would work. However it is a bait casting rod and I use spinning reels.
Not a Spin Rod!! It's for Bait Casting. By JWR from NY on 08/26/2009 Best Uses: Large Fish, River Fishing, Small Fish Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is listed as a spin cast rod, but it is not. It has the 'trigger' underneath and the reel seat on top: that identifies it as a Bait Casting rod. A traditional spinning reel will not work with this rod.
