By horsegirl from Redwood City, CA on 11/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Cons: Bulky, Cut- extremely low waist, Poor Fit Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the long pant form of shorts I had, years ago, and loved dearly. But the cut is not the same, as I remember. The waist is so low cut I feel like I am wearing a bikini when the pants are on, and the waist is large and puckers. The material is fantastic and the legs are generous which I love. Was sad to have to return them, as I was planning on making them a staple in my wardrobe.

Good knockabouts & alternative to jeans By Camille from Pueblo, CO on 10/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, rugged, casual pants that are a nice alternative to denim jeans. I'm always looking for pants that I can wear until they're in tatters. This will be my new pair, and these will have a good, long life. And did I mention that they're comfortable?
By Shagmomma from Boulder, CO on 10/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are really nice. I had a pair of Patagonia shorts made of the same material for 10+ years until they just fell apart. These pants are made of a durable heavier weight material. They are really going to last.
By Here Now from Sierra Nevadas on 09/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Organic Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I hesitated returning these pants (though I did) because I love the way they are cut.... VERY comfortable. However, after washing they quickly stretch out and wrinkle. I found myself washing them frequently as a result, which kinda negates the benefit of them being organic. Otherwise, they are beautiful pants.
By WorkingForLiberation from Sierra Foothills, CA on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work pants Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are excellent in every respect. Patagonia's unfailing efforts to be an ecological, albeit giant, company, is demonstrated in these 100% organic cotton quality crafted in Thailand. Not made in the USA, but certainly nice to see business spread around to somewhere other than China.
Anyway, the construction is solid, the sizing is accurate, the color is as shown and very lovely, and these pants will last a long time! Best of all, FINALLY, a company has made pants with a real-person inseam length of 29". The first pair of pants I've bought in a long time that do not require hemming, bravo to the Patagonia designers! These will be happily with me for a long time to come.
By Shagmomma from Boulder, CO on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work pants Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Durable material and well made pants. The only issue I have is that the waist is too big for me and I will have to get them taken in (I have this issue with all woman's pants, so it's nothing new). I'll be wearing these pants for a long time.

By Mimiane from Ohio on 09/08/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are well made but are stiff to begin with. I've not washed them yet but hope they will soften. I like the style, the legs are wide and the extra layer of fabric will be good for winter wear.
