Great Coat, Even Better Price! By sunny girl from Colorado Rockies on 10/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat is beautiful and for this price, what a great deal! It is a great backcountry coat that is roomy enough to layer under - I can easily fit a thin or thick fleece under it and I can even fit my down "emergency layer" coat under it and only slightly look like a marshmellow! This coat has so much attention to detail - for example, the hood can expand to fit over a helmet OR you can cinch it down to wear regular. I also like the extra fleece lining which adds just a little bit more warmth than say my NF Mountain Light which is just pure shell. AWESOME COAT!
I would buy this product again By Nat the mountain chica from Colorado on 10/06/2009 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat rocks!! It fits enough, but not too snug! So on the really bitter cold days in the Colorado mountains I can throw a fleece under it! I love it, what a smokin deal I got on it!
Wonderful jacket for most winter weather By HelenF from Kerhonkson, NY on 09/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lightweight and warm enough for all but the most extreme winter conditions, with a thin and flexible pile lining. Fits perfectly in all dimensions, and looks great too!
Great fit, good insulation By Ski Mom from Santa Fe, NM on 08/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can only comment on the fit, as it's still summer here. But, fit is important, as I've returned many hi-tech articles of clothing because they didn't fit. The cut of the jacket is perfect, not to slim, and not too bulky. The materials are lightweight, but the lining feels substantial enough for resort skiing. I presume the materials will perform great as the brand name implies.
